Really nice website ok-do.eu by Jenna Sutela & Anni Puolakka. It is “a socially-minded design think tank.”
I was smitten by an especially nice diary article written by Hans Park. The article buzzes around the question “What is it that you do?”. Often faced in a classy fomo party by a job snob (term by Alain de Botton). “The question was posed by the TED Tokyo curator who, after listening to my twittery answer, checked the time and decided to walk away mid-talk to speak with more interesting people.” You need to be ready to sell yourself all the time, have your slogans ready to shoot.
What if you just said: I’m happy. That would just piss everybody off. Or like Tim Ferrish says he says: I sell drugs. I’d go with the latter.
Here’s the referred Alain de Bottom speking in TED, about the question: “What is it that you do?” And go read the Ok Do, it’s a delight wrapped in good things!
…in a mail.

I’ve now been watching HIMYM so much that I’ll soon turn green.
The episode where was lot of naked men in it, maybe it was called The Naked Man, were lot of naked me to be capped.

Few picks again:
(773): So much for the toy store…Not a butt plug in the entire place. See you tonight.
(732): you sent me 45 texts saying “meow?”
(1-732): did i?
(262): Facebook really needs to add a bikini picture profile tab for girls, it would really save me countless amounts of time!
(585): i’m in his bathroom *freshening up* and he not only has a hairdryer… but a straightener. get me out of here… NOW
(847): Women are like Alzheimers patiens. You can compliment them a million times in a day, but the next day is always a wash, you have to start all over.
(706): so i decided not to tell her that her fiance is cheating since i already bought the bridesmaid dess
(610): Instead of asking if I had a condom she literally said ” I’m not on the pill but I’m pro choice… your move”… I’m in love
Do this:
1. Go to the B-gallery and see the new B:exhibition, Samaan Aikaan by Marja Mikkonen. It’s grate and in a nutshell It’s about timeliness, corporeality, chance and perception. See in a map.
2. Then go to the Väinö Aaltonen Museum of Art and see the — hevily debated — Leonhard Lapins, Signs and Void. The exhibition is fake they say. Fake or not, it’s good! How cool name is Lenhard Lapin? See in a map.
3. Then take a swim at the Samppalinna out door public pool. It’s right next to the Väinö Aaltonen. Opening hour are mon-thu 6-20, fri 6-19 and sat-sun 10-19. It’s the best place in the whole world! Lot of concrete levels, lawn and a grate sauna. It was originally build for the 1952 Helsinki olympics. It costs you 4€, if you’re a student, senior or kid it’s 2,5€. See in a map.
It’s sometimes good to stop and think what am I good at and what am I bad at. No one is good at everything and it’s wise to compress your field of expetise.
IM GOOD AT
— Doing the more or less abstaract stuff you see in this website.
I SUCK AT
— Doing something very descriptive, like drawing a comic would be a horror for me.
